Trainee Lettings Negotiator – Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ormes and Fletcher who specialise in Residential Lettings and Property Management, do you want a career in property? A genuine interest in joining the estate agent sector is a must!

You will learn all about the legislation that surrounds property letting. This will take time but we will guide you through this developmental stage.

Your job role will involve all aspects of the day-to-day lettings business. You will be dealing with tenants and landlords both face-to face and on the phone, in the office and out on booked appointments within time. Due to the need to visit properties as part of your role as you develop a driving licence is essential and car owner preferred.

This is the perfect opportunity for a self-motivated, driven individual with a desire to succeed.

Full training will be provided, however previous experience in property is a beneficial.

You will have a genuine interest in joining the estate agency sector and will understand that it is a fast paced environment where time management is of paramount importance. Excellent communication with Landlords and Tenants is key; this involves telephone and email communication. You will need an eye to detail in the preparation of property details which are to be displayed within the company office and websites You will gain training to successfully market and advertise properties in the local area. This will include visiting properties and meeting the Landlords to gather property details to enable you to advertise properties onto the market, meeting with Tenants to visit potential properties. You will be involved in general office duties include filling and inputting documentation for tenants and landlords, dealing with post and completing administration tasks for staff members. You will be part of a team and be working as a team. You will also be dealing with customers face to face and taking telephone enquiries and registering potential client’s details on the database of interest in particular properties or advertising a particular property. You will also be logging customer details on the computer which includes keeping the database up to date with new properties, updating clients and landlord details You will arrange viewings for clients and also arrange valuations for clients on properties along with cross selling other services and canvassing.

Our last apprentice was promoted, just after one year working for Ormes and Fletcher, Nick who is now our Letting Negotiator would recommend any new apprentice to start their career with Ormes and Fletcher!

Saturday Worker 

Our office is open 10-1pm every Saturday, we are looking for someone to join our team and help out on a Saturday for these 3 hours. The job role will include general office duties, answering the phone, booking appointments, dealing with landlords and tenants. Full training will be provided.
